In my practice, I work experientially, following the methods of the Boswijk Institute in Doorn. This means: not endlessly talking about what's going on, but exploring together what you're actually feeling – in the here and now.
Using interventions from Gestalt therapy, Buddhist psychology, and body-oriented approaches, I guide you to the core of your workspace. Whatever you feel there—sadness, anger, loss, longing—is given space to express itself. Sometimes for the first time.
By doing what was previously impossible, something new arises: insight, peace and a different perspective on yourself and your life.
When to seek therapy?
People come to me with all kinds of questions and topics. You can contact me if, for example:
getting stuck in relationships with people close to you
have difficulty feeling or expressing anger
you often feel guilty or insecure
experience a feeling of emptiness or have the idea of being "searching"
struggles to cope with loss or other traumatic events
Whether you have a specific problem or a vague feeling that something is not right, we will work together to investigate what needs attention.
What can you expect?
We start with an intake interview where we explore your needs and see if my approach is a good fit. This is usually followed by five sessions, followed by an evaluation. Together, we'll then decide whether and how to proceed.
Would you like to get acquainted first? You can do so by phone, with no obligation.
